| Expertise: I don't want to give the impression that I have completed any kind of full blown formal training, because I haven't. However, I learned to do Reiki from a Reiki Master in British Columbia. I have also very much enjoyed Shiatsu and have had over 40 incredible treatments from a practitioner who graduated from the Toronto school (over 3000 hours of training). Having learned from all of these professionals while I experienced their work and asked allot of questions, I have integrated a wide range of styles into my own approach (from deep relaxation, to deep muscle, Lomilomi, Reiki, and Shiatsu...) depending on the person I am massaging and what they prefer. I have given massages to perhaps over 200 people and they usually tell me I missed my calling. But, I have much to learn because we all bring our selves into this kind of work and our unique approaches educate one another. |
